I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Utah Valley University's Woodbury School of Business. My work sits at the intersection of auditing, technology, and information access—examining how regulation and changing information environments shape assurance and how investors and other stakeholders respond to audit-related events.

I teach accounting information systems and data analytics, emphasizing systems thinking, internal controls, and modern tools for analyzing and communicating business information. Before academia, I worked in public accounting at Ernst & Young (IT Risk Assurance) and Squire & Company (software implementation), giving me practical perspective on how technology shapes accounting work. I hold a Ph.D. from Arizona State University and am a licensed CPA in Utah.
